Expect roughly ₹450 to ₹1,000 per person for the 9 km and 16 km stretches, about ₹850 to ₹1,500 for the 24 km Marine Drive stretch, and about ₹1,800 to ₹2,500 for the long Kaudiyala run. Published prices differ a lot between websites, so treat these as ranges, not fixed rates. Weekends, October to November and April to June are usually the busiest, and operators may charge more then.

Most quoted prices cover the raft, guide, helmet, life jacket and a cliff jump or body surfing stop where the river allows. Transport back to your stay, photos or videos, food, and camping are often extra. Ask for the full list in writing or on WhatsApp so there are no surprises at the end. Some websites also mention a small entry or permit fee of around ₹20.
Rafting is normally closed during the monsoon, from late June or early July until the river settles. In 2025 it reopened on 27 September after the Ganga fell, but the date changes every year with river levels and the local district notice. The best months are generally September to November and February to June. December and January can be very cold on the water.
